I, too, have let the wild retake edges of Camont. The tree tall wisteria in the orchard, the coming harvest for nettle seeds which nightingales feed on, and the surprise tall red poppy that appeared are the rewards. Thank so much for sharing your wild rewards with us so beautifully.

Ahh, you too...I suffer agonising indecisions over weeds every year Kate, I too have nettles aplenty! I use some for green mulch, some for a stinking concoction for my tomatoes and the rest I leave for the nightingales who sing their thanks day and night... poppies this year are few, I found just one in the barely while I walked, a brave survivor of late frost, perhaps more will come but I think, now, not.
