We have permanent wet feet and soggy socks, eat too many cakes, make a puff ball pizza... and find sweet owlets in the barn and probably much more but all recollection took off with the wind
I wonder if that feeling EVER goes away? I have loved every post I've read so far, and it's been great following the journey from the start, it's almost like reading a book. I bet you didn't know you've written one!
These meadow photos are gorgeous, Susie. And the owlets! Too too cute. 😍 I'm so glad to hear that my piece about calling yourself a writer found you at the right moment through Debs - thanks so much for sharing it! You're ABSOLUTELY a writer. Cheering you on as you claim your title and keep doing the thing! 🙌🏼✨
My heartfelt thanks Charlene, for cheering me on here and with that wonderful letter too, I haven’t given up although there are days when my confidence is hard to scrape off the floor.... summer days will help though I’m certain. Enjoy your afternoon...🌸🍃
Some days I'm right there on the floor with you! Always helps me knowing that at least I'm not down there alone. 😆 Hope you have a lovely weekend too! ❤️
To me, you’re definitely a writer! You write with humour and flow and I was immediately drawn into your story. Instead of scrolling down on my iPad I wanted to turn a page, meaning I felt like reading a novel :))
Thank you so much for your encouragement Elske, I’m not sure I will ever consider myself a writer but I do love to write and if other people enjoy my words then that feels more than ok! X
Oh my goodness, Susie, May certainly threw everything at you. In spite of that, this was a wonderful read.
And yes, you can call yourself a writer. You write with feeling, depth and flow. Im always immediately immersed in your world. Please keep doing it, engaging with the action of writing.
Imagine my surprise when I got to the end and saw your comment about the piece I sent you! I'm absolutely delighted that it helped.
A thousand Thanks Debs, for staying to the end of this rather long winded letter and for all your encouragement too, it has been a dodgy month for me for so many reasons and honestly I’ve been turning in circles… you helped me find the straight line again - I am immensely grateful lovely. X
I can't keep up with everything you do as well as your boundless adventures nor, shall I ever try. My life seems so boring in comparison, not that I'm complaining too much... lol! I love your gorgeous photos of nature and food. My mouth waters in your gastronomic delights. I'm sure Rosie is always prepared for whatever happens when is comes home. Love and hugs....
Thank you for your kind words dear Sonya, I’m not sure I’d ever call your life boring darling…. Quite the reverse! And it really has been a most turbulent month for so many reasons (as you know) and frankly, though usually May is a month I look forward to, I shall be glad to see it’s end! Love and light sweet soul xxxxx
Thank you hugely Vanessa, I try hard to write with a little humour no matter how difficult life becomes, sometimes it’s easy and other times I just feel like throwing the towel in! I’m sure it happens to us all… and yes thank goodness for non soluble daughters ! She will return in summer I’m sure… xxx
Totally agreeing with Debs!
Massive thanks, that really means o much to me Safar… I’m still feeling very out of my depth here!
