So many lovely lines ... "As you reach beech trees light returns, sunlight piercing the canopies of leaves now thinly stretched between sky and earth."

Lovely stroll, thanks for sharing

Hi Susie, thank you for taking me for a walk through your gorgeous forest on your hill. It makes me realize that before the day begins, a whole world unseen is awaiting for the ones who are ready to open their heart to it. Your words have the power to open our hearts ....

Oh Susie, this was so so beautiful. I love the frost and the crisp morning air. I can’t want to get some of it here so I can enjoy some early frosty walks. At the moment it’s all damp and muddy!! And oh for some snow ❄️🩵🤍😍

So beautiful. Both your words and photos.

I think the unintended posts are the best. They just come straight from the heart and soul with none of the thinking planning mind disrupting things.

Thank you for sharing your walk. I felt like I was there. Jo 💜

Thanks heaps Jo, I would have to agree with impromptu writes... they just seem to flow so much faster... ! The trouble of course is that we have to slot everything into life’s necessities, those ideas and thoughts can’t always be written when we want to and certainly for me, the intensity sort of evaporates in the interim...

I am delighted you were transported to my little hill for a few minutes though... enjoy your evening ♥️x

😊 Ah yes, "life's necessities". If only we could just sit and write it out whenever those GENIUS ideas bubble up and the creative sparks fly. And they are genius aren't they?! Those little breaths from the Universe that we just KNOW are meant to be shared with the world somehow and immediately before the lose their vibrancy. Yes. "Life's necessities." I write about this juggle a lot. How awesome are we ( rare shout out to myself) and all the others out there who are still able to somehow create and share whilst doing the Everything else. Ok, I'm off now to clean the toilet, do the washing, and then go to work. Have a great day. Jo 🌻

Haha, you’ve just begun and I’ve just ironed the last pair of jeans and put my 14 yr old son to bed... no he won’t go without me - still! Fed the sheep, closed up the chickens, cleaned dog poop from the steps, made supper, cleaned up and now, at 22h15 I can write, except of course, I’m too tired... and I think this is the case for so many of us who really just want to write!

So, I hope your day is kind to you and the necessities not too cumbersome! 🍂

On such a grey, damp day it was very welcome indeed!

Susie Mawhinney's avatar

Yes, grey and pouring with rain here now, I have no view because the clouds are so low we are lost inside them... so the morning was a super appreciated.

Susie Mawhinney's avatar

Kindest thanks for sharing Lisha, did you feel the magic and calm lovely? X

It was a gorgeous post to read on a Monday morning. It encouraged me to get out for a dog walk, even though it wasn't anywhere near as beautiful here today.

Looking at the morning I’ve woken to today, I am so very glad I braved the cold.... and I still have to walk the dog! Thanks again Miranda... I hope these is a little sunshine in your day 🤍x
