Yes, thank you for this wonderful weaving of encouraging words, reflecting the notion that we're all here, all of life traveling on the same ship spinning through space.
It's always good to know we are not struggling alone. Sometimes I feel overwhelmed by life and all the things that need to be done. I'll be the most effective and precise person in the practical things but they tend to push the time I devote to writing or being creative in a tiny and shady corner. Feels like I can make time for everyone and everything but not for my art. But I'm learning to districate myself although the road is absolutely long and steep. Thanks for sharing!
I’ve always loved postcards, I have a large collection belonging to my father from many years and places, and still enjoy both sending and receiving them. I once called my newsletter Pixel Postcards precisely because I love a postcard. So I will look forward to reading your’s enormously 💕
Hope things look up for you ever more, I know I've been trapped in the mire it feels for several days. But keep writing I just discovered Feasts & Fables myself he's a real champ!
My goodness, Susie, this is very touching indeed. I really enjoyed our conversation and I am so glad that we found a quiet space where inspiration could strike. Your writing is beautiful and so finding the right moments for the right words is important both to you, and to your readers who relish your storytelling. I'm so excited that there will be occasions when the photos will speak for themselves, others when a fragment of words is enough ... and moments too when time opens up for a longer burst. That feels like your creative practice in the making. B
I LOVE the idea of postcards Susie. Such a perfect way to share in a smaller way than sending a letter, to stay connected and still join in conversation 💛💛💛 I absolutely love it. And I’m so glad you were able to find some solace in your conversation with Barry 💛
Ahh thank you Emily, I am so glad! I needed to give myself a little space to breathe and repair the broken bits after such a traumatic week and this seemed like a way of staying in touch without the pinching of minutes of work time that are necessary to put a longer post together… no matter the day of the mood, I always have a photo to show for it so it seems like a good option. We shall see… 🤞🏽
Firstly, I love how you often say you can't write ( due to time, head space etc) and then pull out these beautiful pieces! I think as soon as you allow that "inability" to be perfect then the words just flow out.... Perfectly. 😊
I call myself Raw and Unfiltered for a reason. I literally write on the day, in the very early hours, in the only time I have, and then put it out There. Sometimes it flows better and is "raw" straight from the heart and soul. And very often I can't get the words unscrambled before the household wakes and busyness ensues. Then nothing goes out and I feel bereft.
I am so glad that you found someone to help soothe your soul at this difficult time.
I am looking forward to your postcards. They may have to be large pieces of card....😉xx
Merci énormément Stéphanie - je pense que le voyant rouge de la masse critique a clignoté si souvent au cours de la semaine dernière que j'ai réalisé que quelque chose devait changer... un peu d'espace pour respirer, pour réparer les morceaux cassés ! J'y arriverai.... 🙏🏽♥️xx
Many thanks Deidra, he really is a true warrior bless him! A lonely warrior too at the moment which breaks my heart and finding him a friend is proving almost impossible. More tears...

It's the truth!
Give me a couple of extra hours in the day, every day and all will be just fine and dandy! 😉
