Marvellous tale of daily country life that is both arduous and humorous. I suspect one day your seeds will be a treasure, providing food for your family and a means to barter. Their value beyond measure! Love n light Sweet Susie!

What a delight, Susie! I can't pick my favorite part. I love that your father passed down seeds to you and you continue to weave that inheritance. I love that your ram is named Rambeau! And your log delivery guy sounds like a magical fairy folk. I'm glad stove has been ignited for these rainy days, and I continue to be in awe of your work ethic. Thank you for sharing all of this!

Bless you Jenna, you know… there are days when I question the sanity of my life, I never sit down, (even now I’m walking the dog!) I am permanently trying to stay on top of lists and exhausted because of it. Then I try to think of the life I’d prefer and nothing comes to mind. Reading comments like yours, make me realise just how fortunate I am to never be bored, to be living the life I chose, so from my heart, a huge thank you, the fact that you enjoy reading about the chaos makes everything worth while! Enjoy the rest of your day xx

I am curious about that walnut oil. Also, your log guy sounds like a hoot.

We make walnut oil every year that our harvest warrants it Lisha, the oil is delicious and prohibitively expensive in the shops so it’s a huge treat!

Our log man is hilarious and a wonderful source of local gossip too! 🤭

That is wonderful. I had an image in my mind that you would have used it to lacquer wooden banisters or something. Eat it, duh! 😂 Oh I have no doubt he would have lots of juicy news 😜 My aunt has a shearer who is the same 😂

I think it must be a common trait because my shearer is also a terrible gossip! 😂
