Thank you Betty, it really is a blissful few days, every year, spent in the company of people I adore and miss the moment I leave.

Sounds absolutely delightful and wonderful. Savour those moments. Let time pass slowly in such embrace.

I do Nathan, every year they are savoured and downloaded for moments of loneliness through the next year before I see them again. Its always too long but they help...

Many thanks always for your thoughtful comments. 🙏🏼

I didn't think I was particularly in need of a calm moment, but even so, the chance to be still and present for 45 seconds felt like the best possible gift. Thank you for sharing that lovely video!

I'm delighted that you didn't have need of calm but enjoyed a few seconds anyway, I think calm is like a quick fix, I believe in those moments fully to get through this topsy turvy life!

Thank you for watching..💛

Edges gently tucked in, making sure that not even one precious moment has a chance to escape. Folded ever so carefully in a soft bundle, marked, time. And placed in your heart. Right next to all the others .You can never can have too many.

Thank you for sharing, always sharing .

“There is nothing better than a friend, unless it is a friend with chocolate.”

I will add, a gift of chocolate from a friend is just as sweet.

Exactly that Lor!

These days of memories and moments spent together are the most precious jewels of all the treasures in my year, my children and theirs, though separated by a sea, have grown together at this house, we have shared sadnesses, obviously, lost loves, lost hopes but rising above all, incomprehensible joys too.

As for chocolate, however it comes, love made in chocolate is incomparably sweet!

Thankyou Susie for the invocation of my own times passed in friendship with peace on those satisfyingly lonely Cliffs and Craics of Cairngorm, Smoo and Skye.

I am glad to have summoned such reminders Maurice, I cannot deny a little slice of envy at your having spent time in such lonely places, Scotland is and always been one of my constant dreams...

I have been there many times, Susie, as a mineral / gem prospector. I know 80% of the coastline, and spent five winter months on Skye as a Shell Fisherman. My two youngest are currently cycling the Majestic Northwest. Wish I was with them…. but I am actually prepping to cycle from my Nederlands base to the Pyrenees soon (writing on route)
